My passion for photography stemmed from a young age, learning that everything and everyone did not last forever and knowing the only thing I have to truly look back and relive are photographs. I learned to live in the moment and cherish everything slowly and deeply.
When I capture you, I capture every session with my heart. I want to show the emotion and love in your galleries, tell a story. The love, laughter and the imperfectly perfect make every session truly unique.
I am much more than what meets the eye...
I am a 30-ish, proud wife and mom to two beautiful humans & 5 crazy fur babies! My other titles include; Auntie Kay, Coach Kayla, dance Mama, golden retriever wrangler, the crazy unfiltered friend and so much more. I have been known for my kindness, my empathy, my sass, my true to self personality. Living life without a sensor or a judgement from others; a true passion for happiness and always striving for more.
From a young age, I accepted that I was the black sheep in most crowds, I was proud to be. I didn't ever care to fit in, I never worried about what people thought about me. As long as I was being true to myself, I knew that the right people would love me as I was by how I made them feel. I knew myself well, I spoke my mind freely and smiled like the world wasn't watching. I knew I was extremely empathetic and it took some time to navigate all that weight on my shoulders and truly understand the meaning behind it. I cared deeply, I felt others pain, joy, love, everything. I was always making effort into the pursuit of others happiness, I would lend a hand before it is asked for, everyone's worries were my own and that has transformed me into such a strong woman who understands everyone. I have always had a way to read people and relate to them in some way whether to develop trust or just to make a friend.
I believe I am fairly easy to get to know and be around, I am a professional ice breaker and wear my heart on my sleeve. Therefore, sessions with me are easy going, I have a way to make others comfortable with me, very fast. It's easy to be yourself with me; I don't judge. I will 100% make you laugh, I will be the opener, the guide, the therapist, I will wear all the hats needed to get you the session of your dreams and bring you ease; rid you of the stresses leading up to and planning a session.
